Monday, December 18: Debut Night and Open Mic
http://www.sdforum.org/SDForum/Templates/CalendarEvent.aspx?CID=2093
Here's the Start-up SIG's second Debut Night, where attendees can present their new products and services and receive feedback from their peers. If you have something to demo, great -- we'd like to see it. If you want to practice a short pitch, great -- we'd like to hear it. It can be your VC pitch, a biz dev or sales pitch, or something similar.
We'll take up to 4 presenters for a 15-minute slot, meaning 5-10 minutes for a presentation and the rest for Q&A. At the end we'll have an open mic, when anyone can have a minute or two to pitch whatever they'd like.
Email me (nancy_tubbs@fullcalendar.com) to apply for the 4 big spots; sign up on the wiki (below) for the open mic spots.

The concept of social-web or web2.0 is not new. Many websites like del.icio.us or digg.com are facilitating ways for users to help each other out in sorting and finding information on the web. Copole is empowering users to do the same with email.
